You couldn't find the time to speak with either of the Republican primary candidates, Samuel Wurzelbacher and Steven Kraus, for the 9th Congressional district? Your next issue is due out on election day (right?), so there's not really time to get a companion article out in time.
I'm about as shocked as Captain Renault was to find out that gambling was going on in Rick's Café Américain.
(You young people who don't get that...don't Google it, watch the movie. Its a classic and it won't kill you to see a movie in black and white.)
Something seems to be missing...

Roy
First let me apologize to everyone on this omission. It was noticed during production, as we
got letters to the candidates out late. While I will admit to being a flaming liberal on social
issues, I do try to get as many views here and in the paper as possible, and seeing as they
are candidates, and many in Lakewood would like to know about them, it was a bad mistake.
That said, Roy, it is one of my favorite quotes of all time, and it gets used often.
Casablanca, is a great movie, and I could post a clip with the quote, but everyone should
take a break from life, and watch one of the great romantic comedies.
Will try to make it up to all during the election.
