I noticed today that Dennis has his yard signs up.
Unless I'm mistaken, our primary date is March 6.
I've followed Lakewood politics for over 20 years, and I don't think I've ever seen yard signs out this soon. Am I mistaken, is the January 7 the earliest date ever to have yard signs out?

Mike--- By far this is the earliest. Technically, I believe political lawn signs are only permitted to be displayed 30 days prior to an election. The building dep't is in charge of enforcing sign regulations.

We should just ban them all together. Public Safety issue .. someone could trip on one of them and fall and crack their skull open ... and then sue the City for having legislation that allows these dangerous nuisances at all.

Re: Yard Signs Already?
There have been Ron Paul yard signs on the corner of Edanola and Sloane since before Christmas, two in the yard and one on the tree lawn. Obviously no one working for the city realizes that at the least the one on the tree lawn is against city code because no effort has been made to remove it.
