Our Country's Newest Monument

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to visit the Martin Luther King memorial in Washington D.C. This was recently dedicated just a few months ago. It is located on the Tidal Basin just South of the reflecting pool which is in between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.

The memorials and monuments in our capital always enthrall me with their artistry and meaning. Each one is a reason to stop and reflect.
