During the performance of 'Race' at the Beck Center tonight (we run until Nov. 20! Get tickets at beckcenter.org!), I was surprised to hear what sounded like fireworks going off. Even more surprised to get offstage, go outside and see that they were actual fireworks.
Anyone know what the occasion was?

I heard them down by my house and I had a house of very unhappy dogs. LOL. (i try to sedate my dogs on July 4th but since last night was a surprise....)
