Festival held up at Madison Park. While this has turned into a festival that celebrates kids,
food and politicians, it is always worth stopping up for some networking with friends and
neighbors, tasting some of the delicious food, and even talking with the Lakewood politicians
that know and understand exactly what this festival means to the residents and non-profits
that take part.

Kids racing for bags of candy.

Miss Donna from Silhouette Dance Schools collecting shoes for those in need with the help of Kailyn.

Woody Calleri who is running for School Board was there answering any and all questions.

Chuck Shaugnessy holding down the Lakewood Democrats booth.

A magnetic compass made by students at Roosevelt Middle School.

Seemed like more food from out of the city this year. Which while good, should also spur
some local food establishments to jump in next year.

Now this is what we are talking about Public Works director Joe Beno enjoys the splendid cooking from Grace Lutheran Church. Boy, Joe knows a good thing!

Lucky for everyone they kept the music caged up! Otherwise people would have been
polkaing, frugging, sliding, and limbo all over the place!

Art takes a picture of me, while...

Dewey from City Hall is documenting all of the booths attendants. Here is Hillary from
LakewoodAlive's Housing Program. She might be the most knowledgeable person in the
city when it comes to housing and the programs that can save help them.

Back to the politicans here is Kristine Pagsuyoin, Mel Page, Stan Austin and Art Pagsuyoin
at Kristine's booth as she runs for School Board. It would have been more enjoyable had
more of the candidates been there.

A little Euclid Beach Rocket Car action before leaving.
What a great event, though it could use a little pic-me-up from some of the local food
establishments, and it was odd not seeing more politicians running for office, not stop up
to talk with this hardcore group of Lakewoodites, many who are long time voters. Hopefully
next year, will see an influx of both.
