Yes, back to the point!

From the LHF letter:
supporting programs and services that help make a difference in the health and well-being of Lakewood and the surrounding communities
Money formerly directed towards Lakewood needs will now be distributed to "surrounding communities!" That doesn't even restrict the money to Cuyahoga County!

Of course, as Jenn Pae argued, the hospital assets and the income and business it generated leaving Lakewood wasn't a big deal since the REGION wouldn't be losing - Lakewood's loss was offset by Avon's gain. But, Avon isn't even in Cuyahoga County!

I love the logic of politicians - it's OK our declining city has lost out because that booming new suburb is doing so well with our asset! What is wrong with these people? Cuyahoga County leads the nation in population loss, and all that goes along with it, and our so called leaders find ways to make yet more losses sound like a "great news!"

That money would have gone to LAKEWOOD!

Kiss it goodbye!

Thanks, Mayor Summers.

Bridget, it is hard to imagine a scenario that could be more evil, of course this is only one small portion of how All the citizens of Lakewood are getting ripped off, except the perpetrators of this unthinkable Bad Deal by " BAD GOVERNMENT " IN Lakewood Ohio.
