if there are any signs remaining, please post the locations and I will come around to collect them.
The church in question is where I attend.
and yes, there were over 100,000 filled plastic eggs. we began the process of cleaning and stuffing the eggs several weeks ago (most of the eggs were purchased following last years event).
Journey Church has as part of it's goal, serving ALL of the Cleveland area, which is why it is starting up it's third campus, with hopes of more to come... kind of like how The Observer now operates in several communities... if you've got a good message, it's a good thing to share it with everyone. which is why the invitation went out to Lakewood and surrounding areas. We're not trying to steal people away from Lakewood, we're trying to bring the Spirit in.

I have been meaning to call you for sometime, but glad you stopped in to address this.
I have no ill will towards Journey Church. I have read many good things about them. One of my employees
goes to Journey Church, but not the one in Fairview.
However you have completely underlined what I have been saying. It is an evangelical movement, that took
you from being one of those on the board of a local church, that you yourself described as losing parishioners
to this church outside of the city. Have you spoke to others about how great Journey is, and that they should
check it out. I know you and I am sure you have. My point and the point you underline is members come from
somewhere, and that leaves other pews empty or emptier.
I would like to correct the fact that the Observers operate in other cities as a comparison to Journey. AGS has
taken the Observer platform to other cities, and in each city it is owned and run by people in that city. To my
knowledge, there is absolutely no one from outside the city, trying to get people to move out of those cities, or
even attend events outside of that city. The Observer remains an evangelistic program, but within borders.
What you are talking about is a regional approach to local religion, the Observer is just the opposite, it is Hyper
local as regional and national media just never could understand the needs of each community we are in.
I have to believe knowing that you are involved that it is a great church. Let me invite you to come back to
church in Lakewood, and I will join you, and bring Deb.
