Do politics ever come into play when democrats award bids to unions?

Do the states without unions have poor construction? Are the buildings a safety hazard? Anyone have any facts?

Would you buy non-union and/or non U.S. regardless of workers, wages and working conditions? What would local non-union construction trade wages and conditions be in the absence of organized labor?
Do non-union low bidders pay into pension , health and welfare, and hospitalization plans?

Do large construction employers have extremely powerful building trade conferences and lobbyists at every level of government?

Is it better for our society and Lakewood to have heads of families assured a good wage, family health benefits, and survivor's pension benefits?

Should we do everything we can to keep wages as low as possible so that not only mom and dad but also the teenagers need to work in order to make a lakewood household fly? What societal dividends does that policy pay? Who has in mind the families of construction trades people? The employers' lobby? Wall Street?

Was Cuyahoga County a better place for families when there were 50 more organized union manufacturers up and running?

How are the wages for police, fire, construction, and factory workers in sunny North Carolina? And China? How about Mexico?

Wow - where to start on this one

I would never assume non-union had equal quality - for all the reasons outlined above - false question.

Non Union companys compete; but assuming they have a vastly inferior workforce, I doubt they can "truly" compete in many circumstances.

Do politics come into play when republicans award contracts? Anyone have any facts on this

Not sure what you mean "states without unions" and "are the buildings a safety hazard"; you'll have to explain that I'm afraid.

Oh jeez the hook's in my cheek

Non-union out - of - county bricklayers were on the Harrison job. Local 5 had a informational picket line there.
