Mayor Summers and 2015 Junior Firefighter Madeline Madeline Oldfield place a wreath of the Fallen Firefighter Memorial.


Mayor Summers talked of their bravery, and how he had tried some of the training and found it not just hard, but had issues with tight burning spaces.



Captain Matt Preur starts the ceremony for the Fallen Firefighters. Because of the tragedy in Oregon, and the President had already ordered the flag at half-mast, the flagged was taken down, reposted and lowered for the fallen firefighters.


Fire Chief Gillman and all, have a minute of silence for those that have fallen in duty.

Scott Gillman then showed her the plaque her name was added to that hangs at Station 1. Then it was time to swear in some new firefighters.
