Thanks to the volunteers who helped.

However, I am again disappointed to see the CCLAS Adopt a Pet was snubbed.
It's especially disappointing to see a little kitty suffer because a bunch of politicians -- many from the Observer-hating Team Summers -- are squeezing propaganda into the paper.

Mike,

The thing that I love about Jim O'Bryan is also what I hate about Jim O'Bryan.

All of these Team Summers and Build Lakewood folks spend their day hating on Jim O'Bryan, the Deck, The Lakewood Observer, the Residents, and anyone who disagrees with them.

But, when they want the Residents to hear their opinions and facts .... err ... lies ... they come running to Jimmy!

Warning to Team Summers and Build Lakewood: If you jokers keep trying to shut down Jim O'Bryan's private businesses, you will have nowhere to publish your opinions and facts .... err ... lies ...

And I will continue to help all get their thoughts out through their words and images, as long as they are willing to own them.

Civic Discourse is the cornerstone of democracy, and it sickens me how many have marginalized this project. Not because of anything the project did, but because they have a sick desperate need to control, not just their words, but other people's words and thoughts. And they will stop at nothing to stop free thought.

A place that allows all REAL PEOPLE express thoughts they are willing to own and share.

Those missing in these discussions are the people that say things like, "Shopping don't you understand we need shopping, what don't you get about shopping" when taking illegally taking 64 homes and putting another 1,500 residents on the street. They stand and scream, "We have your tax returns, you can't afford to live there." When a home owner was seeking help in retaining his property while fighting a bankruptcy due to a severe illness in the family. And the recent gem to paraphrase "Lakewoodites are too ignorant to vote on this, I am much smarter, besides, I hate how they vote."

No, total control is their only way, otherwise the house of cards falls down again, as it always has.

Everyone that has ever died in a war wearing and American uniform, died for the freedom of speech, and the first amendment. But a few in this city are afraid, you might speak up, you might think, you might have an opinion, or god forbid you might see a better way to do it.

Here at the Observer one never has enough to think or enough to talk about.

Real Democrats better think of what they and their party stands for, and it is not thought control, conversation control, and our way or screw you.
