Around 9:45pm a call went out that a white Honda had hit a pole on the corner of
Lakeland and Detroit. The actual location was closer to Arthur and Detroit. The Honda
Accord had jumped the curb and hit the pole hard enough to deploy the airbags 30 mpg.
Young woman unresponsive in the driver's seat.

Suddenly radio crackled with "Woman being help out and she ran away."

Four young adults were walking down the street, and were saved from getting hit by the pole. Then Joshua
Benabe ran over to help the woman.

Joshua reenacts how he came over to help the woman.
"Suddenly she pushed me away and went back for her purse and some pills" said Joshua, then went on to say
"She seemed drunk or on something, and said, 'Om my god this is not my car, I have a warrant, I have to get
out of her!' then went running behind Taco Bell and disappeared.

Poles are made to take the accident and break away, this one dented badly.

Police had stopped two women as I was leaving.

One of Joshua's friend had said, "We nearly were killed" which I questioned. Then he showed me where he
was standing at the time of the accident, had she not hit the pole, she might have killed all four of them.

Joshua telling the police his story.
