it is a fun venue for a date or to take the family. The launch happens at a local winery
which offers tours, wine tasting, rides for the kids, food and at 7pm the balloon launch.
I have been to many balloon launches as my sister used to own and pilot one. I've
seen more launch at one time. But with the small crowd, good food, and lake make this
a photographer's dream. So here are some shots, and check it out.
Around 5:30 pm they start to get ready.
After laying the balloon out they fill it with air from fans.
Blowing it up like a balloon.
Then they heat the air.
Setting the balloon upright, but on the ground.
People climb aboard, and the fire is lit full.
Off they go.
