"Right to Vote" Petition Drive Saturday August 15 10am-2pm

Post by Michael Deneen »

As you might be aware, a group called "Right to Vote" has been formed to put a charter change on the ballot this November.

Saturday is your FINAL CHANCE to sign the "Right to Vote" petition from 10am to 2pm at the "Skindell for Mayor" campaign office, located at 11910 Detroit Avenue.

State Senator Mike Skindell has offered his campaign office for this event.
He is supporting the right to vote initiative to change Lakewood's charter to give our community the right to vote on the future of our hospital.

It takes only a minute to sign the petition. The future of Lakewood Hospital depends on it. Mr. Skindell believes that the future of Lakewood Hospital should not be determined by backroom deals. I agree with him.....if you agree, please join us on Saturday.

As I mentioned, we don't have a web presence to broadcast this....so please share the information your neighbors and friends. Give them a call or knock on their door....and share this info freely on social media, such as your Facebook page, Twitter, etc.

Team Summers would like Lakewood citizens to sit down and shut up regarding the hospital deal.
I think it's time for people to stand up and speak out.

If you haven't already done so, please come Saturday and sign the "Right to Vote" petition.
If you have already signed, please spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors.

Together we are making a difference for the future of our city...but the job is very far from done.
