To Be Fair, Tom Bullock Always Wanted A "New DowntowN"

Should we really be surprised that Tom Bullock is joining Team Summers and Build Lakewood in their desire to "Kill Lakewood Hospital" for unspecified development?

I have been hearing rumors that Tom Bullock is planning on running against Sherrod Brown the next time he is up for re-election. Can anyone verify this? This seems hard to believe. He certainly has the gift of gab.

I noticed last night at the council meeting, Bullock was very cordial to the BuildLakewood people. I felt he was rather rude and supercilious toward Brian Essi and Dr. Kilroy, as Mr. Bullock felt for some reason that Mr. Essi was being rude toward him. I did not feel that Mr. Essi was rude at all. I felt that he was simply pointing out facts that I don't think council wanted to hear. We all make mistakes and lose our temper from time to time. However, part of being a politician is having people that disagree with you and being able to accept that in a polite manner. In my opinion, politicians should be able to relate to all of their constituents needs, be able to speak with them, and have discussions where disagreement may arise in a calm manner.

I also have been noticing that Mr. Bullock is late to almost every meeting or never shows up at all. Does anyone know why?

Just my opinion.

a public square on Detroit? who would want to meet people there? so you could stare at bottlenecked traffic? what a goof. besides, there is a park downtown for meeting folks and you don't have to look at angry people in cars when you hang out there.

Did anyone else notice that his campaign emblem.. ironically resembles the "Aleve - for pain relief" logo?
