Re: Water main break Waterbury (1455 to be exact)
Hi Missy,
I believe the last two water main breaks happened in the middle of the night. Nick (Lakewood's water guy) said he would take care of them in the morning when his shift started. I suspect that once the break is under control, a metal plate will sit over the hole for a couple of months before the final repair is made.
Sorry you had to wake up to this with the holiday coming up.

They got it fixed and they all were a great crew. (they even had to pet my boxer Hopper as he was freaking out with them in front of the house so I had to ask them each to at least say hi to him) The one guy even helped me save a baby bunny from the neighbors dog. (that is another story)
Now we have the dreaded steel plate..... of course it keeps my autistic son up all night and he is panicked over it. Since it is close to a holiday I will let it slide for the weekend...but come next week I will make calls to have it fixed. Or whoever in charge can come here and deal with the flipping out child.
