Peter Grossetti Is this a slam against you?

Stan - Slam" ... no, that's not Mike's style. I'm sure it was intended as a tribute.

Minutes - nay, seconds - matter in life saving/rescue situations. THE closest medical center matters.

Thanks for that link, Pete!

One of the Beck Center music therapists was at my Mom's nursing home this week.
They do a very cool "intergenerational" program with the seniors and with preschool kids together.

The therapists decided to perform "4th of July" songs, which included songs of each military branch.
She knew four out of the five....noone in the room knew the fifth.

I'll email that to her.

I think everyone (including the Coast Guard itself) recognizes that they are the "Zeppo" of the military.
Noone ever makes movies or TV shows about them (even lifeguards got a TV show!)
Their TV commercials aren't as catchy.
They don't have a Division I football team.

Just so we can keep to the facts I called Fire Chief Gillman on this one.

There were checked and released, as outside of being shaken up they were fine.

Had they need to go to a hospital it would have been Metro.
Now, and 4 years ago.

Carry on.
