Our apology...
I am starting to get emails from people that appeared on the list of people wanting to tear
down Lakewood Hospital, saying they have never signed it nor would they.
The list was sent in and not compiled by us.
Send us your letters and we will put them in the
following issues of the paper.
Again, sorry for any mix-ups.

Not sure I can make the connection, but I always have to smile.
Of of the the biggest reoccurring comments about The Lakewood Observer is how we use,
music, videos, photos and comedy to make points during a discussion.
It really does set us apart as a fun loving community that enjoys their public discourse.
That is a good thing.

So these people claim that "Team Summers" is being deceptive?
My, what a shock! #lies #spin #businessasusual

I was not saying that or implying that.
Sometimes mistakes happen, I was merely apologizing and making sure they understand
it was not us putting them on the list.
Mistakes happen for many different reasons.
But I can see why you and so many are starting to just lump it all together.

Sorry Jim, but "Kill Lakewood Hospital" doesn't deserve the benefit of ANY doubts.
If they are going to make up names, they should at least be more entertaining.
Why not classics like "Harry Palms" and "Seymour Butts"?

I believe there was a similar situation with the pro-47 group circulating material using names of people who never agreed to lend their names on their propaganda. Sounds like the same old from the same old group.
Mike- if you want entertaining, how about "jamminman" the moniker Jay Foran used on the Buzz to denigrate Mr Saleet repeatedly? He got pretty nasty with anyone who didn't agree with him. These people scare me.

Yet another reason to be thankful for the Observer.
Unlike 2003, folks can't hide behind fake names (or, in some cases, multiple names) to discuss local issues.
If anyone wants to be taken seriously online, they need to come to the Deck.
