Former Spitzer Lot

Post by Amy Martin »

Yesterday, independent contractors painted parking spaces and space numbers in the old Spitzer car lot. Does anyone know what is going on there?

I ask Dru Siley. When he responds I'll post it.

There was talk of another bar or a nursing home.

I haven't received a response yet. When I do I'll post the details, if any.

People were parked in assigned spots both Monday and Tuesday. Some spots are marked with white lines for Bruce's Automotive to use.

That's a shame. Bruce Automotive does a fine job but that corner would have been a great place for apartments but I guess no one was interested.

I haven't heard back from Dru Siley yet.

Someone did mention that a lot of St. Ed's students are using the parking spaces so maybe St. Ed's is renting some of the spots. Bruce's Automotive is using about half the spaces.
