Don't miss Lakewood's own legendary evolved-from-the-electric-eels X___X, with founders John Morton, and Andrew Klimeyk, joined on bass by another punk legend from Lakewood, Craig Bell, of Mirrors and Rocket From the Tombs, and drummer Matthew Harris at My Mind's Eye record store at 16010 Detroit Rd.
According to Charles, owner at My Mind's Eye, there will be a whole different set from that performed last night at the Ball: "The incredible X__X will show Sunday afternoon at 1 PM after co-headlining the 2014 WCSB Halloween Masquerade Ball. They will play an amplified set, answer questions and explain why autographs are useless, punk."

Re: X__X at My Mind's Eye on Detroit TODAY at 1pm
Both The Gizmos and X_____X were in town to play the WCSB Halloween Party at the Detroit
Shoreway W65th Theater. My Mind's Eye and Charles were sponsors and advertisers for the
party so had the two headliners stop by the store for an in store show.

The Gizmos' sound check.

Former Lakewoodite Craig Bell, bassist for Rocket from the Tombs, X____X, The Down Fi sits in with The Gizmos.

Past Lakewoodite Andrew Klimek of X____X waits patiently for their soundcheck.

The Gizmos playing.

Past Lakewoodite John Morton, founder of X_____X and seminal punk band electric eels, waits
patiently for their soundcheck.

Ahhhhh what do you mean we don't get a sound check?

... well...

Ahhhhh what do you mean we don't get a sound check?

Welllllllllll...

The stage sits silent from 5-9pm.

X_____X heads to the basement of "Now That's Class" to practice.

The Gizmos finally make it to My Mind's Eye.

Everyone had fun enjoying the hits.

Sunday, it was X_____X's turn...

John and Craig arrive.

That no soundcheck last night was bullshit!

... Welllllll...

NEXT TIME A%@#@#@ SOUNDCHECK, and into "Rattlesnake."

And then it was over...

Old rockers share the love...

They sold some swag.

They posed for their new album cover...

Said their goodbyes to Charles. My Mind's Eye has become like a little Tower Records in LA.
You never know who is shopping for new or old records.

A little more man-love for Charles and then...

Off to the next "gig."
