Lakewood High 35, Normandy High 0

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Lakewood High Varsity Football shuts Normandy High out, making me another winner
against the Parma Observer. Good work Lakewood High Football!

Moving down the field in the 3rd quarter to another touchdown!

How great in First Federal Lakewood Stadium to run into Dave Shaw (VP First Federal Lakewood)
and Deck poster Scott Meeson.

4th Quarter fumble on the goal line from Normandy led to...

...almost a safety...

... almost another safety...

... that led to an almost dropped punt that was shanked.

Read the story in the upcoming Observer and online, by our Mike Deneen, no one does
it better when it comes to Lakewood sports!

I knew Mike Ribar would get the best out of the kids, just a great guy and a terrific coach. And, as a Parma High grad I'm thrilled when anyone kicks Normandy's butt. Well done, Rangers ...

I see that David Shaw is still sporting the Corey Hart look.

Careful, Scott:

Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades; oh no
    Don't masquerade with the guy in shades;
(oh no) (I can't believe it)
You got it made with the guy in shades; oh no

I filed a story this morning.
I have not seen any other media accounts of the game online, so it could be another LO scoop!
