At about 7am a woman described as between the ages of 30 and 50 was driving west
bound down Detroit this morning when she lost control of her car.

Going up on the side walk where she hit a parking meter at the east side of Steve Barry Buick
sending it flying in the air.

Proceeded down the side walk, at what most believe was a pretty good clip, and into the
utility pole, sending the car up, making a pole dent in her hood.

The kinetic energy broke the pole, and while the car was in the air, turned it, landing on
a car in the Steve Barry lot.

Meanwhile the parking meeter which had cleared the lot, the cars, and everything else
traveled about 60' to land against the far west side of the building.

The woman got out of the car and walked to the ambulance, where she was taken to
Lakewood Hospital to be checked out.

You can see the left front tire driven back in the wheel well, also it was the left
side of the car which hit the meter and the pole, which means the entire car was on the
sidewalk for about 30'

It was amazing the small amount of damage to the 10 cars within feet of this accident.
Drive safely.
