The current power outage that is going on in Lakewood is partially restored. We had no power at all from 12 - 1.30 PM EDT. And then it partially came on at 1.30 PM.
And when I say partial, I mean partial. Our kitchen lights work, but the stove does not. The upstairs bathroom has power but none of the bedrooms do. Our humidifier works in the basement but none of the lights work.
This is happening to our neighbors as well and the Lakewood Citizen Facebook post shows someone else experiencing it.
Very odd. We've lived here 15 years and power is either on or off. Never seen "partial" to so many homes.
You experience something new in Lakewood every day!
Cheers,
Matt

Actually the partial power is more common than you think. Did you have your power
upgraded for 220? Not often, but I have heard of about 15 cases including my own house
where it went partial power. In my house it actually caused not just low wattage, a
killer for computers, be warned. But also some rooms working and some not.
Today was caused by downed wires, and is not part of rolling brown outs, something
Lakewood used to experience, or "Little Havana" Webb - Lakewood Park area, North of
Clifton, brown outs more often than rest of city, caused comments years ago about the
power is as good as Cuba's.
FWIW
