Porchestra Causes A Stir In The Region

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

The talk of LakewoodAlive's Porchestra program is causing ripples in the area, good ripples,
positive ripples, the kind that make people want to LIVE here.

This morning WEWS's "In List" stopped over on Rio for a photo op with home owners, and
Ian Andrews from LakewoodAlive. It was all good fun and great music.

By all means check out Porchestra, as it was meant to be seen on the porches of Lakewood.
Take the time to walk the neighborhoods, and listen to some great music. You can listen to
music inside anytime. Walk the city, hummmmmm along.

Thanks to LakewoodAlive and the Cleveland Orchestra for making this happen.

Thanks Jim! There's still time to register your porch and receive two free tickets to a select Cleveland Orchestra concert at Blossom this summer. Visit clevelandorchestra.com/porchestra. This page also has a map showing the different locations of folks who are participating. Four porches will have musicians and choir members from The Orchestra and the other porches are residents taking part on their own. Walk, bike or drive around the check them all out from 4-5pm. Then head to the library on Detroit for a free concert featuring a choir and ensembles from 5-7pm.
