It won't be too long before the elderly folk from The Westerly will be walking over to the new Bob Evans restaurant. What a shame it is that they will have cross busy Detroit Avenue at Manor Park without the aid of a traffic light (or walk all the way up to Bunts to get a protected crossing.)

It was a dark and quiet night in Lakewood. A lone car traversed Franklin Avenue; its driver headed home after a long day in at the office. The motorist's thoughts turned to the glass of Scotch waiting for him ... and he suddenly felt a sense of ease.
