Re: Giant Eagle Files Plans For $3.5 Million Store Renovatio

I like GetGo. They get most of our money now because they sell diesel which their old store didn't. Also the new store is much more convenient and large. With my large vehicle it was difficult to get into the old location. My teens like going down to GetGo to buy snacks or have a quick lunch with friends. And unlike many local convenience stores they actual welcome teens in which seems like good business sense. When teens feel welcomed they will spend money.

We don't shop at Giant Eagle or Heinen's much, we are an Aldi family and we try to get our meat and produce from local farmers when in season.

I do hope they fix up the store though. It would make sense and make it more pleasant for consumers. When we do go to Giant Eagle we tend to go to the 117th location because it is cleaner and has a larger selection. At the end of the day though Giant Eagle generally doesn't fit in my grocery budget. We have a large family and cost is more important to me than brand names.
