Did City Hall Seek "Safe Routes to Schools" ODOT Funding?

Post by marklingm »

WADSWORTH: City Council on Tuesday adopted legislation to apply for funding from the Ohio Department of Transportation to improve the safety on routes to four of the city’s elementary schools.

Referred to as “Safe Routes to Schools,” the ODOT project has the objective of providing money to make improvements to sidewalks and other routes to schools to promote safety and to encourage more walking and bicycling by the students to school buildings.

Did Lakewood City Hall apply?

It would seem like a perfect fit for the 'Wood.
