Beware Beautiful Killers

Over the next couple days temperatures will be climbing. This will produce beautiful icicles
but they will also be falling, and they can weigh enough to cause serious injury or worse.
Be aware of things hanging down from above, enjoy their beauty from a safe distance.

I took a broom and knocked them all down. One had fallen on an overhang and made a huge boom. They are heavy, pointy and dangerous!

Got a long extendable window washer tool from Lakewood Hardware some time ago. The thing extends out to perhaps 20 feet? Anyway, I've used that to knock down those icy spears from a safe distance away.

Back to the banjo... :D

I was leaning out an upper window and knocking them down - all the while thinking if I ended up on the ground, I'd have a lot of explaining to do!
