Is Mike Summers Wining & Dining With POTUS On Our Dime?

Post by marklingm »

Is Mayor Mike Summers currently away from City Hall so he can wine and dine with President Obama and other mayors?

How much money are the residents paying for our mayor to chillax with the POTUS while Lakewood residents are left dragging trash to frozen curbs?

What benefits and/or knowledge will Mike bring back to the 'Wood from his visit with a few hundred other mayors?

We know that "City Hall and Friends" believe that Mike is doing such a horrible job as our elected mayor - just look at our roads today - that they want to replace him with an unelected city manager.

So, why waste our hard earned money on training Mike to be a competent mayor when City Hall is tossing him out for a city manager?

Can't we have our parks open to the public again instead of wasting our money on mayoral gluttony?

Thanks for sharing, Jeff.

Note that:

The mayors were treated like visiting royalty by the Obama administration, which dispatched several Cabinet secretaries to meet with them both publicly and in private.

I wonder whether Mike Summers spent any time on this visit asking the POTUS for help getting Mike's spy toy off the ground.
