A Festivus for the rest of us...

Post by Bret Callentine »

Unfortunately, I'm not very technologically savvy, so I can't post a picture, but please swing by my house on Elmwood avenue to see our freshly installed, brand new, City of Lakewood issued, Festivus pole.

the tribute to Frank Costanza goes very well with my Christmas Story leg lamp.

For those that could not drive by and examine Brett's Pole personally...

Brett what I like about it, is that it is historically accurate so will compliment your house,
and the homes immediately around you that had spent so many hundreds of thousands in
making sure your homes were every bit as magnificent as when they were built at the
turn of the century.

I mean you put all that work in the last ten years so, "cheap industrial crap" would be
of the period you rehabbed your house. The good news is they only use those poles for
bright lights that flash 24 hours a day.

and just when I thought the pole itself was unsightly...

the flashing sign is up, complete with solar panel.

I can't wait to marvel at it's flashing brilliance.
