Music at Madison Park Features Live Music Next Two Sundays

Free concerts hosted by LakewoodAlive 9/29 & 10/6, 1-4.m.

LakewoodAlive, in partnership with the City of Lakewood and Vance Music Studios, presents “Music on Madison” at Madison Park (13029 Madison Avenue) on September 29 and October 6, both days from 1-4 p.m. The free, live concerts will feature jazz and blues to help ring in fall and round out the weekend. The concerts will take place directly in front of the pool house and the community is invited to attend. Bring a lawn chair or blanket too.
September 29: Mr. Downchild
October 6: Bob Frasier and Friends

This program is part of an effort to bring more programming to Madison Avenue and is an off-shoot from LakewoodAlive’s Front Porch Concert Series.

I love the idea, but why have one of the days (this Sunday) exactly when the Browns are at home (1-4)?

I completely understand that many people don't care about football and/or about the Browns, but seems to me it would have been better to offer the music at a different time?

That said, the second Sunday is nice as the Browns aren't playing a game that day (they have a Thursday game).
