Special Board of Education Meeting

Here's the latest from Treasurer/CFO Tim Penton:

A Special Board of Education Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. in the Superintendent’s Office, 1470 Warren Road, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 for the consideration of the employment of public employees and any other business that may come before the Board.



Well so far we know that Bill Wagner's going to work for the Administration-- Who is the new Lakewood High principal? I know Lincoln's principal is retiring, and their music teacher. Who is the new principal at Lincoln? Who is their new music teacher? I know Harding's music teacher (Nathan Harris, who the kids really like) moved to the high school to become the new band director there. So who is the new band director at Harding?

I would think this meeting is about at least one of these things. There's a real square dance going on now with administrators. It makes sense to get as much of it in place as they can before the summer begins, and the new school term in August.

This message doesn't say that the meeting is an Executive Session-- so I'm assuming that it's open to the public-- but most of their meetings about employment are not.. I'll check that out and report back.
