Former IRS Commissioner visited WH more than twice as often as Eric Holder

If you put together all of the White House visits by Cabinet members Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, and Hillary Clinton, you might approach the number accumulated by a non-Cabinet official from an agency in the news lately. Douglas Shulman visited the White House far more often during the Obama administration than the closest members of Barack Obama’s own team, with perhaps six times as many visits as Energy Secretary Stephen Chu and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood:

This is how "open minded" liberals operate with in our government. Suppress those who have a different political opinions from them..

More government intrusion into our daily lives. America is slipping away.
The U.S. government has obtained a top secret court order that requires Verizon to turn over the telephone records of millions of Americans to the National Security Agency on an "ongoing daily basis,"

Oh for crying out loud, even Lindsay Graham doesn't have a problem with this.

If the government needs to intrude into our daily lives in order to prevent terrorism, so be it.

This is an incredibly dangerous mindset to the future of our freedom. Just look at what the IRS was capable of doing with just a little information, imagine what Obama could/would do with every detail of every american.
I recently spoke with a liberal in the city that ran for office years ago. He saw no shame in admitting to me that he broke all types of election laws when he ran. He said it is all about winning. He also saw nothing wrong with what the IRS did because it helped Obama win. This man was completely serious and had an anything to win attitude, regardless of laws or ethics.
We are living in dangerous times, people that should not be trusted with power have lots of it and they control the media so a lot of the mindless citizens see nothing wrong with it as long as they get something for free.

Sandra….
The problem is, our government CREATES terrorism by way of its (our) intrusion into the affairs of other countries. Then it contends that it needs to curtail our civil rights to combat terrorism. Why should we forfeit our civil rights to mitigate an issue that was created by those very same people who created the issue in the first place?
I fully understand that, by reducing our military footprint, oil will become less available and that our dollar will lose “reserve currency” status. But that is going to happen sooner or later anyways. Oil is finite and our dollar is just paper, no different that Beanie Babies, created at will….
First things first, you make it clear that civil rights are NOT NEGOTIABLE. Shame on anybody for asserting otherwise. Then you begin the process of withdrawing our military from the 100+ countries in which we are involved.
Would you agree?

Perhaps we could reopen those FDR concentration camps and lock up anyone who criticizes the government. We probably won't need trials, since all the evidence will be classified.
Society in every state is a blessing, but the Government even in its best state is but a necessary evil...

They are not trying to prevent "terrorism" (this is just an excuse to take away another Right of the People) .. who are they profiling? Holy sheeple Batman!!!!
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Stephen,
Come on, you can't quote the 4th ammendment. That is really old and out of date. There is no way they could have imagined the type of communication we have now. The constitution obviously has to be rewritten by the obama courts.

In the name of stopping "terrorism", the government is protecting us from terrorist by profiling innocent citizens. Meanwhile the same government is giving Billions in tax dollars and F-16's to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and selling stinger missiles to terrorist in Libya..?? Yeah, this is logical..
