Congratulations to the Lakewood High School Girls Track and Field Team on their Runner Up finish at the Div. 1 District Track and Field Meet held this week on Wednesday and Friday at the Lakewood Stadium.
The Girls team advances 9 athletes in 10 out of the 17 track and field events.
Senior Simone Brown-400m, 4x200m relay, 4x400m relay
Junior Maeve Christie-800m, 4x800m relay
Senior Julie Herman-300 hurdles, 4x200m realy, 4x800m relay, 4x400m relay
Junior Alyssa Hasman-1600m, High Jump, 4x400m relay
Junior Grace Latham-3200m
Sophomore Pryce Macon-4x200m relay
Senior Amanda Sacha-400m, 4x200m relay, 4x800m relay, 4x400m relay
Freshman Mallory Shaw-3200m, 4x800m relay
Freshman Clare Toole-Pole Vault
They will be competing next week at the Div. 1 Regional Track and Field Meet at Amherst High School on Wednesday and Friday along with five members of the Lakewood High School Boys Track and Field Team that also qualified.
