Don't all you people understand how miserably broke and unfixable our two party system is???
Until there is a legitimate third (or fourth or fifth) political party, it will be "business as usual" on Capital Hill and down Pennsylvania Avenue ... across the aisle bickering, extremists from both the Left and Right not wanting to even cosider the term "compromise," etc. etc.
It's broken, folks!! So very, very, very broken. The days of the two party system should be numbered.

Stephen - A legitimate Third Party? Or the clamoring of an extreme wing of an existing party?
Extremism from every political facet, coupled with the most hideous human trait -greed- will be the ruination of our society.
Blind faith partisanism MUST stop.

The tea Party must have obviously been a legitimate third party threat to "open minded tolerant left" of this country .. Why else would Obama and his henchman use gestapo like tactics to silence them... ? Extremism: One who advocates or resorts to measures beyond the norm, especially in politics. The only one to advocate or to resort to extremism in this situation was Obama and his crew of thugs.
The Tea Party was simply trying to exercise their 1st Amendment Rights. Obama took extreme measures beyond the norm to silence them.
