My students and I are working on this year's iteration of The WikiSeat Project, and as many of you came to the Beck Center to see the chairs displayed at the gallery last year, I wanted to be sure to share what we're doing this time around.
Here's a post I wrote for my students' families. It contains links to a good amount of local and national coverage of the project, as well as an explanation as to why in the heck we're building chairs as part of our English class.

My students are also publishing their work on their own blogs, as well as sharing photos and videos of their progress. Please follow the #wikiseat Hashtag on twitter. If you are not a twitter user, don't worry, just click on the following link.

Lastly, I am frequently writing blog posts about the WikiSeat Project this year at http://teachinghumans.com/.
Thanks for taking a look at the powerful and exciting work our Lakewood students are sharing with the world.
