The NRA

Post by Stephen Eisel »

Unlike the other 100,000 "pro-gun" sheeple, I did not join the NRA after the Sandy Hook massacre. I use to be a member of the NRA but quickly realized that the leadership of the NRA does not always represent the best interst of its members. The NRA's response to Obama's call for more "gun control" was childish at best / sophomoric. Like Obama, the NRA failed to address any real issues that would prevent the next Sandy Hook.

for 30 years or so I've found the monthly NRA " The Armed Citizen " column an interesting
read. As it is compiled and published by the NRA from local news sources reporting the use
of firearms in legitimate self-defense, it portrays a certain reality.

Although types of weapons are not always indicated, it seems that traditional shotguns,
revolvers, and medium capacity semi-auto pistols still work pretty well.

I've been watching a lot of Mannix re-runs.
he ends up shooting a lot of people over the course of the show.
He seems to be using some conventional six shooter most of the time.
his gun doesn't even look that big.
shouldn't that be enough for most people?
