Lost dog

Post by Betsy Voinovich »

Hi all,

This came from a friend who used to live on St. Charles and now lives in North Carolina--- there must be a great grapevine for dog owners.

Her name is Phoebe, she's seven years old, and according to my friend's message, she has a hard time seeing. Her last location was the Winchester area. She's been missing since early this morning. The owner has already contacted Lakewood animal shelter.

If you find her, call 216-559-0228. Thank you.

A Prayer for Animals

Hear our humble prayer, O God,
for our friends, the animals.
Especially for animals who are suffering:
for any that are hunted or lost or
deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put to death.
We entreat for them all thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them,
we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals
and so to share the blessings of the merciful.

~ Albert Schweitzer

(often attributed to Schweitzer ... however, it does not appear in his writings, and probably was not authored by him.)
"So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?"
