Am I Missing Something?
There seems to be a little hostility over the Obama landslide re-election, which I would have
been happy to not notice but it is sick, and always with a racist back beat.
Republicans, that cannot believe America did not choose Romney, a person they never
really supported themselves. A person with no backbone, unless you count telling
someone to fire Americans from their lifetime jobs. I guess, they would see that as a
natural choice as the black President, had not cleaned up the country fast enough since
the last time a Republican President broke the world.
OK let's say, America needed a person to lead us that has no actual beliefs himself. But what
on earth did the last Republican President do besides break the world, sleep through the
largest and most successful terrorist attack on US soil, and then attack not just one wrong
country, but two, in an effort to wipe out a terror movement that was not based in national
beliefs but one of religious multinational functionality.
For this discussion we will leave out the fact that Republicans at one timed OKed payments
to BinLadin, or that GWB let so many fly out of the country in the 48 horrors of the attack.
What was that good thing the LAST REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT (boy, that sounds good doesn't it) did right?
Top ten things would be enough, with 8 years to pull from, should make it easy.

Yes, as usual, you are missing the facts. The Benghazi thread was started on Mon Nov 05, 2012 5:50 pm, a day before the election.

Every point you have asked for has been covered, and explained.

Stephen
Why am I apologizing to Kate?
Man up? What would you know about manning up?

actually stephen i'm not looking for an apology. usually when jim apologizes on the deck it comes dripping with sarcasm. i just wanted him to admit that maybe, just maybe, he jumped the gun a little on the charges of racism. instead he has decided to ramp them up in a whole new thread.
i used to like jim. hell, i even admired him at one point. not so much anymore. see, i've been called alot of things in this short life. racist never made that list til last week and i thought, mistakenly, that jim was better than that.
ive worked hard to educate my children on the importance of all life no matter what color that life comes wrapped in. then the loudest guy in the room implies, not so subtley, that im a racist. well, i take offense to that.
i didnt support the policies of george bush senior. i didnt support alot of clinton's policies either. and my head is still spinning from bush junior. i guess i must hate white people too according to jim's logic.
obryan has come unglued and his charges of racism are evidence of that. dont expect anymore posts from me on this issue or any issue that he brings up. the best way to drown out the loudest guy in the room is to leave.

Something is definitely wrong.
Jim and I have had our fair share of disagreements but occasionally he goes overboard. I used to have printouts of pages of lies about me he posted years ago, then I just realized that Jim will be Jim. He does a lot of good for this city and region and yet he can go way off base and attack people that disagree with him.
With that being said, I have not seem him use the race card so much as he has in the last few months. I guess in his mind you have to be a stupid racist to not agree with the same ideologies he believes in.
Jim, I think Lakewood Hardware would be happy to sell you some adhesive to get put back together.

Peace.

pages of lies?
I remember one over simplification of your life, and the threat of a bazillion dollar lawsuit
from you and Eisel with your $700 an hour lawyer, sent to the director of the library.

pages of lies?
As for the race card, I am puzzled, I admit I am puzzled. I am even more puzzled after
the Rs choose Romney, in the difference between what President Obama has done, and
what a Republican President would have done*. I can understand the outrage from the left
he has moved more to the center than anyone on the left would have imagined. He
had gone out of his way to adopt ideas and programs from the right. Democrats wanted
Single Payer Health Care, not Romney Care. Yet the non-stop attack about him being an
American, (While Romeny was born in Mexico), his religion (can't even mention Romney's
religion), his golf games, 8 more! oh the horror, this and that carry on in a never ending
attack on him, and the Office of the Presidency according to what you, Eisel, and Parker
have said in the past. Being Un-American by your definition, not mine.
So, he does Republican programs better than Republicans, He fixes things with the
constant stonewalling of congress, and he is reaching out to all sides on programs they
wanted.
The only thing left is race.
If you say it is not an issue, then where is the one fair word you Eisel, or Parker have
sent in support of the office of the President over the last 3.5 years?
Am I Missing Something?
If you are upset by Benghazi, and we should be. Where is the outrage over the Iraq war
and the documented lies the President told us? Fairness? Or is it something else?
* There seems to be some wacky belief that Romney's business background would have
made him a better choice. Steve Davis pretty much takes that apart in another thread.

Re: Am I Missing Something?
I was just back looking at some of the political posts prior to 2008.
Again, I ask Eisel and Salo, when did they decide no to respect the president and why?
It seemed to be a foundation of your beliefs. I one post Ryan stats, "I have agreed that we went over there on some false information."
But in that thread you talk about moving on, we must come together...
I guess it is OK for Republican Presidents to lie.
But let a Democrat be late even a little bit, and bam investigation.

I think I am understanding you more, you do not read my posts.
I said, I understand why the left is upset with Obama.
I am trying to figure out why you hardcore Republicans are.

If you actually watched the clips then you would understand why..... It is not about respect. It is about the lack of leadership and change that took place between 2008- 2012.I am trying to figure out why you hardcore Republicans are.

Lack of Leadership?
6 Presidents tried for a healthcare plan.
2 wars ended
Higher education better funded
hundreds of thousands of homes saved for people
Wall Street slightly better than pre-crash
growth in business and employment
debt reduction
job plans
and a safer future
This is after walking in an Bush's eight year kegger that broke the world.
WITH NOTHING BUT OBSTRUCTION FROM THE RIGHT
No leadership?????????????????????
This is what I mean. That list should bring enough respect from you and the right to skip
90% of the bullshit you post, and carry on about. "Born in America?" WTF.
Go back and look at the litany of your work and Salo and Parker these past 3.5 years. It
is some of the most 100% negative drivel I have ever read. Then go back and read your
post, Ryan's post and Paker's posts going back to 2004! It is a 180 degree switch.
So if it is not leadership.
It doesn't leave a lot, now does it.
Or has American politics taken on some sort of sports sickness. Win at all costs, lie, cheat,
attack, hit below the belt and just plan out cause confusion and BS.
