Politics of an 8 year old

My son strongly supported Obama. He had many logical reasons on why Mitt was not good for this country. I supported his decsion and encouraged him to do research and read about Obama. He is very passionate about US History. I give credit to the lakewood school system for sparking his interest in US History and current events. It is nice that he has been able to draw his own conclusions with out anyone telling him how to think (that would include parents or teachers).
