On Sunday, November 4, Vice President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden will hold grassroots events in Lakewood, Fremont and Lancaster Ohio. Multi-platinum Grammy winner, singer, songwriter and Obama-Biden supporter, Jason Mraz, will perform in Lakewood, Fremont and Lancaster.

LAKEWOOD EVENT LOCATION: Lakewood High School (14100 Franklin Boulevard, Lakewood, OH)

DOORS OPEN: 8:45 AM EDT Sunday, November 4, 2012

LAKEWOOD: Ticket information for the Public: The event is free and open to public, but tickets are required for entrance. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are available beginning Friday, November 2 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST. If tickets are available, distribution will continue on Saturday, November 3 from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST.

Really happy for the kids in Lakewood Project who are playing along with Jason Mraz. They are thrilled for this awesome opportunity. Sadly my husband and I are out of town so I hope some good photos are taken as our is playing. Politics aside I think this is a wonderful opportunity for Lakewood to show what a great community it is.

I wish I didn't have to mention this but I think people need to be aware of the double standard of our school system. It is my understanding that four years ago McCain and Palin were both denied access to the school buildings for two different events. Then when Palin was approved to use lakewood park they invited the lakewood music department to send kids to play but were refused.

This isn't an official visit by the white house, this is a political event. If candidates were given equal opportunities I wouldn't have an issue.
