I find it amazing that you can underline a video of quotes made before Obama was elected,
and some before the catastrophic failure of Wall Street, the Banks, and Auto Industry,
underline with his own words, and now blame him for not getting the Republican messed
cleaned up fast enough, so WE MUST PUT THE FAILURES BACK IN OFFICE?!

Really.

Where is the outcry for Romney to come clean on his taxes. A simple enough request,
something you would have to do to run for mayor in Lakewood. But no, can't see them,
OK what about business, sorry, can't see them. What about a single plan you have and
the math. Sorry, can't tell you it is a secret.

GWB came in as the most secretive president ever, and I believe this underlines that
Romney would just be Bush 3 on steroids.

A massive failure and debt maker.

Jim the stock market crashed on 6-8-08.. 5 days before the 2008 election was 10-31-08.. Let's debate the facts... We are still at war.. We are still dramatically increasing the deficit. Obama's plan and bailout did not result in a 5.6% unemployment rate..

Stephen

So two of Obama's predictions didn't come true, for what ever reason, we throw him out
for the very team that broke the country?

Really?

22 of 27 advisers right of of GWB, the very person no one is allowed to mention!

With ZERO help from the other side of the aisle.

I think considering many things, the guy is a miracle worker.

You know Jim, those of us who tend to be somewhat “conservative” understand that liberals pretty much don’t have a clue about running our economy. Liberals interfere to much. Which I understand doesn’t make liberals relatively deficient: both parties will run up deficits aplenty in order to please constituents and “buy” subsequent terms in office. It’s really easy to do in a fiat currency world.

But those (like you) who holler “Bush” in the face of Obama criticism are invoking straw men, pure and simple. Obama has clearly failed to keep his promises with respect to the deficit and such. Obama made the promises he made with the full knowledge of the then-current economic situation.

Worse still, there are some conservatives (me among them) who tend to become more liberal when it comes to social issues, and especially when it comes to protecting our civil liberties. And this has been Obama’s biggest failing. I think of things like drone killings, NDAA, warrantless wiretaps, Internet snooping, gay rights and such. There has not been a peep from Obama about substantial intrusions into our civil liberties. Face it. As long as Obama ignores his promises regarding the economy, at least he could aggressively protect our civil rights. But he has not and the fact is, Obama is not one bit better than Bush. And that certainly does not make him worthy of four more years.

This time around I voted for Jill Stein, mostly because Gary Johnson is a fake libertarian. And I think it’s a damn shame that 95% of our population votes for the “lesser of two evils” and are afraid to “waste their vote.” Until that changes we’re hosed. And unfortunately I don’t see that changing until it’s way too late.

BTW you mention that if we elect Romney we might inherit the very team that ruined our country? Does that mean that Ben Bernanke, Larry Summers and Timothy Geitner will run our economy once again? (Oops Jim, they do now.) How does it possibly get worse than that? Does that mean that GMO supporters, Monsanto-lovers like Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack won’t be charged with food safety anymore? Well we can only hope so! I know how you feel about GMOs and there is not one bigger GMO supporter than Barack Obama. I could go on endlessly, Jim, I think you need to be careful what you wish for….
