to President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2010, stopped by the Lakewood Re-Elect Obama
office to give and energizing speech to local volunteers, at what used to be Maria's.

Mayor Emanuel arrives, and goes in after speaking with Lakewood Observer political reporter,
Nadhal Eadeh.

The crowd of about 50 had a chance to talk one on one, and ask some questions before
things started.

Mayor of Chicago kicks back while State Rep. Nickie Antonio introduces him.

Nickie pinned a Lakewood button on his lapel in a show of brotherhood with Chicago.

He only spoke for about 20 minutes, but it was a real change from what I have been
hearing from those stumping for President Obama. This was real relaxed, real let's
finish this election right kind of conversation.

Get out and vote, and tell your friends and neighbors to vote.

As he was leaving the event, he stopped to talk with Channel 3.

Answered the question if he thought Obama should be re-elected without hesitation.

Signed a couple autographs, jumped in his car turned left driving slowly up Newman Ave.
to Franklin and then left.
More photos and and a story from Nadhal later.
