Marcy Kaptur was back in Lakewood today bringing along a new friend who she had met from Sandusky. Yvonne Kademenon, had worked at Bain Capital, Mitt Romney's company, and was telling a story similar to the one in the book, "Barbarians At The Gate," which is the story of a buy-out and what happened with RJ Reynolds. Where a really good CEO was hoping to keep the company running, and was employing thousands of Americans, and the "Bain Capital" type guy, who wanted to buy it, break it up, and make the RJR Board and himself millions breaking the company up and selling off the assets.
The trailer from the movie, Mitt Romney/Bain would be the character played by Jonathan Pryce.
Congresswoman Kaptur kept pointing out that Bain Capital is a job destroyer, NOT a job creator as Mitt Romney often tries to sell. It was fascinating hearing first-hand how she saw the error of Bain Capital's ways and saw it as wrong and un-American.
