For girls Beginner to Advanced experience pitching.

This is a great new addition to the Lakewood Board of Recreation and Lakewood Girls Athletics!

We will be offering a fast-pitch pitching clinic for girls aged 9-18. The lessons will be designed to help individual players develop and improve the basic fundamentals of pitching.

The lessons will include proper mechanics for maximum speed and accuracy. The girls will learn the correct grip, stance, footwork, posture, stride and arm circle.

There are two types of lessons: Beginning/Intermediate and Advanced.

Advanced lessons will be designed to teach different grips for specific pitches. The players will also receive further information for practice routines, game preparation and the mental makeup required to be competitive and successful

The clinics will be held on Thursday evenings beginning this Thursday, October 11th

6:15pm – 7:15pm Beginner/Intermediate
7:30pm – 8:45pm Advanced
15 scheduled lessons
Lincoln Elementary School – Old Gym
Each pitching student must bring someone to catch for her. Catcher will be required to bring and use their own gear. Each player will be required to purchase an indoor softball (Brian Daw will have them at the site).
