Congresswoman Betty Sutton Crosses Over

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

This morning Congresswoman Betty Sutton, crossed over the bridge from the 16th District
to enjoy coffee with friends and the Lakewood Democratic Club at the Root Cafe.

Betty is running for re-elction in the 16th District, took a break from the grind of campaigning
to share a cup of joe, and words with old friends.

Congresswoman Betty Sutton from the 16th District, Steve Bennet, Second Vice President
of the Lakewood Democratic Club, Gladys and Ed Favre join Betty for a coffee.

Betty who is married to a firefighter was commenting on a T-Shirt she was given years ago
by Retired Police Sergeant Edward Favre that said, "God made police so that firefighters could have heroes." Knowing Ed, that is pretty funny. She went on to talk about what a great public servant he is.

At that point, I got called away...
