The temperatures will be back into the mid 90s again today with the heat index soaring to
110 degrees. While most of us rightly believe "The Heat Index" is nothing more than a way
the media makes things seem worse then they are. It does indicate when temperatures become
tough on seniors, those with health issues, and pets. Though I hate dumping them together.
Make sure your pets have water, shade, and a cool place to lay down.
Make sure elderly neighbors are checked in on, and made sure they are OK.
We have at least another 60+ potential days of this.
Cooler heads will prevail.
