Fourth of July Parade. From the second year on we have taken pictures of what we see while
being in the parade. For those of us in the parade it is a fabulous see of faces, friends and
people smiling laughing and pointing that make it all worthwhile.
Damn I love the people of Lakewood!
Before we left Edgewater, one last lemonade.

Kids everywhere blowing bubbles, eating candy!
Big crowds big fun.
Always a big party at Dave Shaw's house, with his sister Suzanne Metelko leading the
parade the party was bigger than ever!
Fourth of July parades are for everybody!
At the end of the parade Councilman from Ward Two Tom Bullock stopped by with
Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur to say hello and offer words of encouragement to me
and the Observers there. Thomas Mulready of Cool Cleveland, not to miss getting his
picture taken, jumped in.
Connie and JJ take a break in the LO Limo, after a long hot walk handing out candy, while
Councilwoman Mary Louise Madigan stops by to say hello and ask how were are doing.
Thank you to all that helped this 4th of July from Meg, Betsy and Deb who got the LO stuff
together to Melissa Garrett, May Hagan, Brian Powers and all of the workers from the city.
It was a good day, and it is appreciated by so many.
