It was about 9:30am this morning when the constant pounding of the street and sidewalk
resurfacing became first a roar, followed by a cloud of dust and a breeze, and instantly
LakewoodAlive could see daylight for the first time since they moves into the basement
of the INA Building.

The glow in this photo is one of the ceiling lights at LakewoodAlive!
They were breaking up the sidewalk for the new wayfinding and light poles when they dug
a bit too far. Actually it is amazing that the LakewoodAlive offices are located below 4" of
Detroit Avenue sidewalk.

Looking up from the offices you can see the blue sky of outside.

As you can see from the amount of rubble, "we are all lucky no one got hurt" said Ian Andrews
director of LakewoodAlive.

Employees were sent out of the streets instead of being in the offices, and the Corral Group
offered them a meeting room that would fit six if they need space until the hole could be fixed.
