Nature's Bin buying McDonald's on Sloane

Post by Betsy Voinovich »

Wow, this sounds great. Nature's Bin is going to expand and build a more complete training station and also move administrative and employment services to the same space. Great news. Haha.... yeah it would seem, but Nature's Bin could not finalize their deal (where they wer also looking out of Lakewood) until McDonald's bought new property to move from their older location.

J is right. Cornucopia had to wait for McDonald's to be convinced buy enough reason$$$$
that the move to the Detroit Theater would be good enough. So as we were told McDonald's
corporate offices, who are really good at this, did a massive search through their database
and found, that the PERFECT place for a McDonald's was the intersection of Hall and Detroit.

This is kind of interesting because Taco Bell's world class search group had narrowed it
down to Edwards and Detroit. Hmmmmmmm one would have thought slight south of the
border, but that is another story.

So once Mickey Ds found, Hall and Detroit, through this world class search, the deal for
Cornucopia to not leaver, errr grow, was set in concrete. errr something. I have been
assured in this world right out of Bizzaro World, that it also had nothing to do with Whole
Foods or the other healthy food store  coming to Rocky River.

I mean you have to admit we are lucky. What if Mickey Ds had said, 12700 Lake? and we
would have to tear down Pier W. of Lakewood and Detroit, and we would have had to tear
down City Hall. Yeah we really got lucky this time.
