Is This Someone's Church?

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

The last time I mentioned signs all over Lakewood, it was for an Easter Egg Hunt, outside
of Lakewood. While I was outraged over the sheer amount of "analog spam" dumped onto
the streets of Lakewood, and equally amazed at churches trying to poach parishioners, I
was met with resistance that explained, no poaching, I have been going there since a friend
told me about it, and now we are just trying to share the love and word of... Because I
suppose Lakewood has no churches.

Since that time we have had hundreds of St. Eds for Beds, Baby Bonanza, Walk In Style
and even 12 Old Home Fair signs, that I have remained silent about.

That said I have learned my lesson, so now I am asking before I accuse.

Is this someone's church?

These appeared all over Lakewood this weekend...

... if this is someone's church I would hate to offend again.

And of course it would be harder to say no to these when we let anyone else...

So let me know who is worshipping here, and I will drop it.

I'd say it's either some fly by night, lowlife scammers, or a major bank. Good luck differentiating! :)

Jerry

Thanks I needed this.

It was 4:30am I had just finished the paper, and went looking to see what had been posted.

I had a good chuckle then, and again now.

Thanks.
